CELEBRATE MN | Waite Park

On Sept 8, we had the honor of bringing the 14|27 Basketball Challenge to Celebrate Minnesota. Over the course of 1.5hrs of play we had 132 attempts and 1 completion. At this amazing event we debuted a brand new opportunity called “Leroy’s Jump Shot.” The first person to make the 3 from the top of the key wins $25 cash.

Waupaca County Fair

From August 21-25, we had the honor of running the 14|27 Basketball Challenge at the Waupaca County Fair. Over the course of the 5day event, we had over 1,600 attempts at the 14|27 mini and only a handful of completions each day. We had bleachers at our location that filled up several times each day creating an amazing experience for the competitors and onlookers.

Union Gospel Mission | St Paul

On August 15, we had the privilege of bringing 14|27 to Union Gospel Mission (Twin Cities) for their company picnic. We had everyone from kids, to parents, and beyond compete and it was so much fun. UGMTC, has been fighting homelessness, addiction and poverty in the Twin Cities since 1902. On top of running the challenge, all the competitors were also able to nominate local churches to be blessed through SYCAMORE.

Community Hope Fest | Elk River, MN

This was our second year at Community Hope Fest...which is a free event put on for area people to enjoy an afternoon as a family and get free food, school supplies, and more. We had nearly 500 attempts and 4 completions.

Mille Lacs County Fair | Princeton, MN

This was our first year at the Mille Lacs County Fair and it was amazing. We ran the 14|27 for a total of 20hours and we were non-stop the whole entire time. In one day we had a total of 395 attempts. We had some young people run the challenge every single day and many families took in all the fun.

National Night Out | SCPD

This was our second year of partnering with the St. Cloud Police Dept. and the COP House for National Night Out. On this night, kids and teens from all over come together for free food, fun games, and some basketball. We had 136 attempts in 2hrs of play and 1 completion. A special thanks goes out to all our first responders. Thank you for ALL you do for our community.

OneFest (Cadott, WI), August 2-3

OneFest was our second music festival and it was amazing. We set a record for the most amount of attempts in an day...334 and 2 people completed the challenge. We ended the event with over 600 attempts and around 10 completions.

Stearns County Fair (Sauk Centre), August 1-4

In 2024, we brought things to another level at the Stearns County Fair. On top of having nearly 3x the amount of space, we brought in music and had a great time over the 4 days. We had just over 1,200 attempts at the 14|27 mini and just about 30 completions. Some competitors even completed the challenge without a single miss.

Hometown Pride Days (Cold Spring), July 27

This was our first year at Hometown Pride Days in Cold Spring, MN. We had an absolutely amazing time as Main Street was turned into all kinds of various family friendly entertainment...including us. In the 4hours of competition, we had 265 total attempts at "the mini" and 4 completions. We had kids, to teens, to young adults, parents, and grandparents all compete.

Granite City Days | St Cloud, MN

We had an amazing time at Granite City Days. We ran our challenge from 11-3pm and were non-stop. We had everyone from kids, to teens, to young adults, parents, and grandparents compete. We even had a former professional player take on the 14|27. In all we had 257 attempts which averages out to more than 1 attempt for every minute of play.

Juneteenth Celebration

We were honored to be invited to participate in St. Cloud's Juneteenth Celebration at Lake George.  From 1pm - 430pm (in front of City Hall), we ran competitors of all ages through the 14|27 Mini. Anyone that completed the challenge walked away with a cash prize. We are thankful to the SCPD Cop House for connecting us with this event. We're looking forward to doing more things at Lake George.

Dick's House of Sport (Minnetonka), May 25

This was our third event with DHOS in Minnetonka...and it was amazing!!! We ran the "14|27 mini" for four hours straight with zero breaks in the action..."OUTSIDE." DHOS has a beautiful outdoor sports complex and it made for an amazing environment to run 14|27. In the 4hours we were there, we had 257 attempts and only 1 completion.  A special thanks goes out to DHOS (Minnetonka) and we're looking forward to doing more events with them in the very near future. 

Hoop Time | St. Cloud

On May 24, we brought 14|27 to Hoop Time, which is a ministry of Youth For Christ. At this event we ran "the mini" and "the full." There were basketball players represented from all over the St Cloud area and it was exciting to see them put their skills to work.  On top of challenging the players we also took the chance to speak to them about life and the importance of understanding that God has uniquely gifted them. The winner of the event made it to Shot 9 (on the full). 

Dick's House of Sport (Minnetonka), Apr. 27

This was our second event with DHOS in Minnetonka...and it was amazing!!! We ran the "14|27 mini" for four hours straight with zero breaks in the action. We had "Blue Chip" players compete all the way to grandparents. A few dads completed the challenge and several moms gave it a whirl. 14|27 is for the whole family.   A special thanks goes out to DHOS (Minnetonka) and we're looking forward to doing more events with them in the very near future. 

Dick's House of Sport (Minnetonka), Mar. 23

Halftime Show, Feb. 16

This is was second time going to Sartell High School to run our basketball challenge during Halftime. We ran the 14|27 mini during the JV and Varsity Games.  One of the highlights for this event was that immediately after the JV Halftime we had a line of young people ready to sign-up for the Varsity Halftime. It was a great night of competition.  A special thanks goes out to Jordan Hansel (State Farm), Culver's in St. Cloud, and Dick's Sporting Goods for sponsoring this event.

Red River Roundup, Breakdown Sports

On February 10th, we went to Moorhead High School to partner together with Breakdown Sports for an unforgettable day of Basketball. Some of the biggest schools in HS Basketball from MN and ND came together for a day of amazing competition. We ran 5 halftime competitions that day. Eve (pictured), finished the challenge only missing 1 Shot. A special thanks goes out to DSG for helping sponsor this event.

Border Battle, Breakdown Sports

On January 20th, at Benilde-St. Margaret's we're partnering together with Breakdown Sports for an unforgettable day of Basketball. Some of the biggest schools in HS Basketball from MN and WI will be coming together for a day of amazing competition. We'll be running the "14|27 mini" during the halftime of all 8 games.

Holiday Showcase, MTH

We connected with Chris from "More Than Hoops" back in August of 2023. After seeing what we do with 14|27 he wanted us to be a part of his future basketball events. On December 23, we joined him and MTH for the Holiday Showcase. This event was for young ballers across the state of MN. These guys had some talent and several of them completed the 14|27 mini. 

Halftime Show, Jan. 5

On January 5th, we joined the St Cloud Christian School for a night of basketball. We ran a halftime competition for all 3 games.  The last competitor of the night was Levi. With ALL eyes on him he took on the 14|27 mini and completed it.  A special thanks goes out to everyone at SCCS for a great evening. 

Gym Class, SCCS

On December 1st, we went to the St. Cloud Christian School for our first ever GYM Class Event. In total, we ran about 70 students from 4 different classes. On top of running the basketball challenge we took time to encourage the students with this idea, "you need to risk failure in order to succeed."

Monday Night Lights, SCPD

In August, 2023 we joined the St. Cloud Police Dept / Cop House for a community wide event as we opened the first ever Outdoor LIT Basketball Court in St. Cloud. There was basketball games all afternoon into the late evening.

Community Hope Fest

On August 13th, we went out to the Sherburne County Fairgrounds for Community Hope Fest. This was a free event for the community. Attendees received free food, entertainment, and special back to school supplies for the kids.

Stearns County Fair, 2023

We we're honored to be at CELEBRATE MN this last August.  We ran the 14|27 at the YMCA for 6hours straight and had 100's of attempts. Competitors of all ages came out to take on the challenge and many of them ran it multiple times. No one completed the challenge, but many people walked away winners.  A special thanks to American Heritage Bank and Chick-fil-A for sponsoring this event. 

Minnesota Senior Games

One of our goals is to run basketball players of ALL ages. This year we took a HUGE step in that effort of being a part of the 2023 | Senior Games here in Minnesota.  Competitors from all across Minnesota came together in St. Cloud to run the 14|27 Mini. The winner of the competition actually completed the challenge.  A special thanks to Thrivent for sponsoring this event.  

Stearns County Fair, 2023

On July 27 - 30, we ran the 14|27 mini at the Stearns County Fair. We were located right next to the Grand Stand Ticket Office. Each day 1,000's of people got to see competitors young and old take on the 14|27 mini. We ran the mini for 4 hrs each day...and it was non-stop action. Every hour we gave away $25 cash to whoever made it the farthest, the quickest. A special thanks goes out to "Central McGowan for sponsoring this event.

Sherburne County Fair

On July 20 - 23, we ran the 14|27 Basketball Challenge at the Sherburne County Fair. We were located right by the Free Stage on the Fairgrounds. Each day we gave out $60 an hour to the competitor that made it the farthest. Some hours we ran upwards of 20 attempts. Other hours it was just a few. In all, we had over 200 attempts at the challenge.  A special thank you goes out to CoMitted 365 Roofing and Exteriors for sponsoring this event and the staff at Sherburne County Fair for being such amazing hosts. 

SE Minnesota FCA Camp

On June 13, 27, and July 11, and 13, we traveled to SE Minnesota to join FCA for their annual summer camps.  Over the course of these 4 days, we ran 300+ individual young athletes through our one-of-a-kind basketball challenge the "14|27 mini." A special thank you goes out to James Bolin and his team for helping make this all possible. 

SYCAMORE Basketball Classic

On July 10th, we  traveled to Willmar, MN to join YFC (Youth For Christ) to run a community wide basketball competition. As a part of the competition we partnered together with SYCAMORE to bless one of the ministries represented with a $500 donation.  The competitor that made it the farthest got out on Shot 10 and walked away with a $100 gift card. A special thanks to Thrivent for sponsoring this event. 

Cretin-Derham Hall

On April 8th, we went to Macalester College in St. Paul, MN for a city wide girls basketball event.  We ran 4 separate competitions...70 competitors in all. The furthest anyone got was to Shot 22 before running out of time. 

SCHEELS, St. Cloud

On March 11, 14|27 we joined SCHEELS at Crossroads Center in St. Cloud for their Basketball Event. It was amazing. We literally ran the challenge in the Food Court.  The flow of people was constant as we ran competitors from age 8 all the way to 57. The farthest anyone got in the 14|27 was to Shot 13. A special thanks goes out to SCHEELS. If you're looking for anything clothing, athletic equipment, etc; look no further than your local SCHEELS.

YMCA, St. Cloud

On March 7, we joined the YMCA for their "Annual Day of Giving." In all, we had over 100+ attempts by kids, teens and adults. The farthest anyone got was to Shot 16. The YMCA holds a special place in our history as it was the first location that Tommy (14|27's creator), completed the challenge.

CAL Tournament

At the tournament, we ran players (men and women) from 11 different teams from all over Minnesota.  The winner (who made it to Shot 16) received a 1st Place Trophy and the team received a generous check. A special thanks goes out to Spee-Dee Delivery and Solutions Counseling for helping make this all possible. 

Cretin-Derham Hall

On February 28, we had one competitor make it to Shot 9 marking the first time anyone made it past Shot 8 in all our halftime/pregame competitions.  A special thanks goes out to Chick-fil-A, Roseville for giving sandwich cards to all the competitors.  

Champions | Rochester

On February 2, we traveled to Rochester to run over 170 players through our basketball challenge. The furthest anyone got was to Shot 8. A special thanks goes out to Chick-fil-A Ear of Corn for partnering with us.

Pre-Game | Halftime, Jan 20 and Feb 9

On February 9, we ran a couple halftime competitions for the St. Cloud Christian School. The farthest anyone got in the halftime competitions was to Shot 8 (the first 3-Pointer). A special thanks goes out to Jordan Hansel (State Farm Agent), and Chick-fil-A, Crossroads Center for helping make this possible.

Basketball Contest, Aug 14

We're hosted a St. Cloud area Basketball Contest. The best shooter took home a cash prize of $100.
-All ages came out to compete.
-The winner made it to shot 14.

Sartell Camp, July 27

We joined the Sabres summer camp for the 2nd year in a row. It was a great time running the players and coaches. One of the players was close to making it 1/2 of the way through the 14|27.

Rochester Youth Sports Camp

On July 11, and 13, we went to Rochester to run area youth through the 14|27. We had a total of 151 attempts between the 2 days of competition. We gave out wristbands and Chick-il-A gift cards to every competitor. Thank You FCA (and James) for having us in.

Hoop Time, April 22

We were invited to go to YFC to run the players from Hoop Time through the 14|27. Players from all over  the St. Cloud area (ages ranging from 13-19) took on the challenge. There was over 80 attempts that night and the furthest anyone got was through Shot 13.

Pre-Game | Halftime, Feb 11 & 25

We went to the SCCS Warriors home game to run a Pre-Game and Halftime Competition. Over 30 shooters competed. A special thanks goes out to our Neighborhood Applebee's for partnering with us for this event.

Pre-Game | Halftime, Feb 4

We went to the Sartell Sabres home game to run a Halftime Competition. Eight shooters competed. A special thanks goes out to Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union for sponsoring this event.

Pre-Game | Halftime, Jan 20

We went to the SCCS Warriors home game to run a Pre-Game and Halftime Competition. Sixteen shooters competed.

Practice | Community Event, Oct 29

We went to NCU to run the Men's and Women's Teams through a 14|27. We also ran the student body during the Haunted House of Hoops Event. The winner received a $400 Scholarship.

Community Event, Sept 11

Our first ever Community Wide Event. It was held at Whitney Recreation Center. The winner from the shootout walked away with $100.

Summer Camp, June 17

We were invited to go to Rocori's summer basketball camp. The camp was for elementary players and they did very well. Several of them making it beyond varsity players.

In March, we did a competition at the Sabres' basketball camp. The team performed very well. Many of them making the Top 25, and one player even completed it.

Practice, Feb 22

We went to a boys team practice and a girls team practice. Both teams did good. One girl made it to shot 21 before going out.
